In conjunction with this, "tech gadgets" are a very standard, accepted purchase for a lot of men, on the established stereotype, and these men would probably get one no more or less if there are women I'm the ads or not. Groups also tend to buy lots of books, and regularly. Both mums, who often read a lot more in pregnancy if they have the luxury of being able to rest more, and professional women who have higher disposable income (as well as women who are both of these!) are, I imagine, the primary market buying a lot of new fiction, especially in clubs. I think there is a massive market in social book clubs, and Amazon is trying to hit that demographic. ![]()
